How much does a kitchen remodel cost?
The cost depends on the size of the kitchen, whether the layout changes, and the cabinets, counters, and finishes you choose, so there is no honest one-size price. After the in-home visit we give you a written estimate based on your actual kitchen and the work involved, so you can decide with real numbers in hand.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Once construction begins, most kitchen remodels take about 4 to 8 weeks. The exact timeline depends on the scope: a cosmetic update moves faster than a full remodel with layout changes, new electrical or plumbing, and custom cabinets. Before work starts, we walk you through the expected schedule so you know what to plan around.
Do you handle permits for a kitchen remodel?
Yes. Many kitchen projects involve electrical, plumbing, or structural changes that require permits, and we coordinate the permit process as part of managing the job. If your project needs permits or inspections, we take care of lining them up so the work is done to code.
Can we stay in our home during a kitchen remodel?
In most cases, yes. The kitchen itself will be out of service for much of the project, so we talk through a temporary setup for cooking and cleanup before work begins. We keep the work area contained and keep you updated as the schedule moves, so there are no surprises day to day.
Who will actually do the work in our kitchen?
Ashor Construction is a family-owned company run by Edward Ashor, who brings more than 20 years of experience, together with his sons Anthony and Nick. We manage your project and coordinate the licensed trades involved in the work. The company is licensed and insured, and clear communication is a priority from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
